The casino welcomes 200 000 visitors every year and hosts a wide range of table games, slots, electronics, and poker deck. Its doors opened in 1920 in Alfred Delpierre’s mayoralty. It was a glamorous destination featuring dancing, music, and thalassotherapy. The establishment became the first centre to use heated sea water as a form of therapy in Brittany. These facilities no longer exist, but today players can take a break and enjoy an array of dining and drinking options at the restaurant and bar.

Learn Breton Dance with the Celtic circle
The villages of Brittany are very typical and folklore is very rich. Breton dance is part of this, and Saint-Quay-Portrieux is no exception. You can find the Breton dances in two major events : a Fest Deiz, or a Fest Noz. These are the Breton names for “day party” and “night party”. They are joyful and festive, with a lovely atmosphere. There are different kinds of dance : in a circle, a chain (a line), in a “quadrille”, that is to say, with two couples, or in a procession.
- Breton dancing step by step: Tuesday (July & August) | 8:30 p.m. | Free
- For beginner and advanced dancers
